The competition, which will accept entries through March 12, is designed to enable cloud access for local government and education institutions who demonstrate innovation in cloud-based applications. Past winners have built open data, work order and inventory management, and IT modernization projects.
The categories are “Best Practices,” “Partners in Innovation” and “Dream Big.”
According to a public relations spokesperson for AWS, 2017 marks the first year the contest will recognize K-12 school districts. The competition page is here.
