Awards are based on five population classifications. Top-ranked cities will receive the Digital Cities Survey award and city leaders will be honored at an awards dinner during NLC’s annual conference Nov. 17-19 in Kansas City, Missouri.

ALL U.S. cities, towns, and villages are invited to participate including all smaller population-sized cities. Consolidated city/county governments may select one survey in which to participate annually, either the Digital Counties Survey next year or the Digital Cities Survey.

Winners will be honored in articles on, on social media, and in best practices publications.

Aggregated responses will be shared with participants, providing insights into emerging best practices and benchmarks useful for strategic planning.

CDG thanks the following Digital Communities corporate members for underwriting the survey: Premier Corporate Members: Accela, Amazon Web Services, Infor, Laserfiche, Microsoft, Oracle America, Inc., and Yubico. Standard Corporate Members: CAI, LinkedIn Talent Solutions, Pure Storage, SHI International Corp, and VertiGIS.
