Access Indiana Rises in Ranks

Site wins multiple honors

Access Indiana, Indiana State Government's Web Site, has over 200,000 pages of information and 175 interactive services. It has ranked among the top state government sites in the United States year after year. The site rose from fourth place in the Center for Digital Government's 2002 Best of the Web competition, to third in 2003, and second in 2004. In addition Access Indiana has received an MIT Digital Government Award and was honored for e-government performance by Brown University's Taubman Center.

Wayne E. Hanson served as a writer and editor with e.Republic from 1989 to 2013, having worked for several business units including Government Technology magazine, the Center for Digital Government, Governing, and Digital Communities. Hanson was a juror from 1999 to 2004 with the Stockholm Challenge and Global Junior Challenge competitions in information technology and education.
