4th DHS Secretary Bids Adieu

Can you even say what his name was?

Yes, the fourth Department of Homeland Security (DHS) secretary in the Trump administration has said he is resigning — to spend more time with his young family. See Kevin McAleenan resigns as acting homeland security secretary.

It is enough to make your head spin! I expect we'll have the name of another "acting" DHS secretary in a matter of days. I'm nominating Stephen Miller, since he is the power behind the throne and the person making all the decisions and pushing the issues about the wall, border and detainees. Might as well have him "up front" and directing things — in person down at DHS.

As for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), you guys need to keep your head down and nose to the road. Likely whoever does get the nod to become the next "acting" DHS secretary won't give a hoot about what it is that you do. These days, that might be a good thing!
