A New Wave of COVID Infections and Protests Spreads Over Europe

Austria is one of the nations imposing restrictions.

The United States is not the only place where people have become weary of social distancing, wearing masks and getting vaccinated. See this New York Times article: “Angry and Divided, Austrians Argue Over a Lockdown and Vaccine Mandates.”

On the BBC radio there was this interview: “Austrian premier discusses Covid strategy.”

I talked to some people who are fed up with mainstream media coverage here in the United States. As an alternative to “the alt-right” radio, try BBC for a British perspective from across the pond. They do have a lot of coverage for what is going on here in the United States.

While one news program here in the U.S. is called “World News Tonight,” there usually isn’t much world news in the broadcast. How many countries can you name in Africa? What is the status of the coup in Sudan? What is China up to in the South China sea? All things worth knowing about when it comes to current events. Where is the majority of cobalt mined and what is it used for that matters to us?
