Briefing Your City Council or County Commission on COVID-19

How frequently, or if at all, are you briefing your elected officials on the status of the coronavirus pandemic and what is happening in reference to the situation, the response and the status of the response?

See this good example of one such report: "Emergency Manager's Report to City Council on COVID-19 (February 2, 2021)." This is for the city of Sammamish, Wash.

I've shared in the past how I think a briefing should be given, and that it needs to start with national and regional efforts/situations before diving into the guts for what is happening in your own jurisdiction. This report does that. Context matters — especially in a worldwide pandemic.
