Committee on Homeland Security Holds Hearing

I call this an example of when “the worm has turned” and the opposing party does a deep dive into the impact of the previous administration’s activities. In this case it is the Democrats looking at the Department of Homeland Security and the perceived abuses of authority that they employed.

The only one I’ll comment on is this one:

• Promote continuity in leadership by restricting the use of “acting” officials.

This was a continuing issue across the administration and its departments, but played out significantly in DHS.
