Extreme Event Game

A resource you can use in your community.

The National Academy of Sciences (NAS) has developed an exportable game, Extreme Event.

We are always looking for new means by which we can engage community members, be they individuals or organizations. You can read this story for how Fairfax County, Va., employed the game.

There are three ways you can use the game. Rent the materials, make your own materials, or the Cadillac version is have NAS staff come and facilitate — for the cost of their travel. Maybe you could FedEx one of the NAS staff to your location, overnight, to save a commercial plane ticket?
