How Politics Are Polarizing the Pandemic Response

One of the saddest aspects of the coronavirus pandemic is how the politicization of the response has impacted the lives of so many people. This comes from the unnecessary illnesses, deaths and impacts to survivors.

Just last week there was a study released that stated that over 100,000 children lost a parent or grandparent who was their primary provider. That is a generational loss. Some children have lost both parents to the disease.

I don't blame the people who have been sucked up into the conspiracy realm and swallowed it all, hook, line and sinker as much as those who look to gain from the antagonism and strife between beliefs about science, medicine and politics. Here I'm speaking about Governors and United States Senators who are highly educated and calculating, who are acting selfishly for their own political gain, while seeking fame and political power.

These are the real, fist pumping culprits who have no ethics nor moral ground on which to stand. I know better, they know better!
