This position reports to the Mitigation and Recovery Section Manager and has delegated responsibility as the Division's hazard mitigation strategies policy coordinator, to administer the planning policies of Section 322 of the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act, as Amended, and 44 CFR Part 201. The effectiveness of the state's and local mitigation planning before a disaster directly influences the state's ability to minimize the impact of emergencies and disasters on the people, property, environment, and economy of Washington State.
