I'm sure that some will challenge any facts and figures that are provided by the United Nations. Others will accept the numbers. Did you know there was a rumor going around in Texas a few years back that the United Nations was trying to take over golf courses in that state?

Forget the source--think about the costs of disasters. Just the numbers here in the United States are pretty staggering.
