We Need More People to Serve in the Medical Reserve Corps -- Now!

After the terrorist attacks of 9/11, the Medical Reserve Corps was established. The idea was to create a reserve of medical professionals, much as there is a military reserve of people who can augment active duty military in times of crisis.

That crisis, and it is medical, is upon us. To find information about volunteering, you can go to this Web page There will be many needs in the community where you live. COVID-19 testing is but one example. 

Even if you have been out of the medical field for a long time, your basic skills can be helpful to the medical community where you live. We are about to have an onslaught of cases that will test the ability of our existing medical infrastructure to hold up in this crisis. 

At some point in our lives, we've all thought of doing something heroic. Now is that time!
