What podcasts do you listen to? The Daily has become a prime source of information, news and commentary for me. It is one of the top four podcasts in the United States. Interestingly, podcast popularity falls off quickly to be in the crime genre, etc. News, I guess, is not that exciting. For your information, the Disaster Zone podcast is rated number 104 in Canada for its category!!
The last one I listened to was this one: "Why Are U.S. Coronavirus Cases Falling? And Will the Trend Last?"
I personally have answered this question in an earlier podcast from today. So I won't repeat myself. Just let me summarize by saying I'm pessimistic about 2021 and getting back to a new normal — anytime soon.
Recall that the variants of the coronavirus were only becoming more widely recognized in December of this year and Great Britain went back into a more stringent lockdown after the holidays. What other surprises are in store for us in 2021 — that we don't know are coming our way? Likely it won't be people hiding in the basement and jumping out to say "Surprise — Happy Birthday!"
