Wow! Eight Emergency Management Jobs

All in one department!

OK, so they are all in one city/department, but they sound a bit desperate to hire if they are waiving requirements.

This is where I say you have to bite the bullet and move to where there is a job. Get some experience and you will be much more marketable. You don’t have to commit to living in L.A. for the rest of your life.

The city of Los Angeles Emergency Management Department (EMD) currently has eight emergency management coordinator positions open. EMD has exhausted the list of current candidates and is moving into the emergency hire process. This process waives the previous prerequisites with the understanding that if the candidate wishes to continue in the position after the emergency appointment, they will meet them by the time of the full-time appointment.
