German Postal Service Delivers First Package Using Drone

Deutsche Post demonstration heralds a vision of things to come.

On Monday Deutsche Post joined Amazon and others who are counting on drones as a goods and packages delivery solution of the future. The delivery company DHL, a subsidiary of Deutsche Post, used a drone to deliver a package of medicine from a pharmacist in Bonn to the company headquarters located across the Rhine river.
