Austin's Google Fiber, Infographics & Trending Topics

In this week's video, GovGirl talks Google Fiber, and takes a stab at her own infographic.

by / April 10, 2013

This week's GovGirl video had to cover Google's announcement that Austin, Texas, is the next city to get super-fast Google fiber internet service. I remember a couple years back when cities did all manner of crazy stunts to be named the first city to get the 100 times faster than now internet (Kansas City won that round).

We just launched a new website to connect government IT type people with each other online, and a new group for web and new media folks is a part of it. Join the networking site and invite your friends!

A picture says a thousand words, which is why I loved the article on CIO Bill Greeve's advice about using infographics in government. I took a stab at my own infographic in this week's video. What do you think?
