Is there a Tesla social media platform?

It’s not technically a social media platform, but it functions so similarly to one that we may as well call it that.

Tesla recently launched a new feature of its website called Tesla Engagement Platform. Housed within the company’s website, this new platform allows Tesla owners to “like” and comment on posts, as well as follow other owners. It was designed “for both Tesla’s public policy team and Tesla Owner’s Clubs.” So it’s basically just social media for all things Tesla.

“Its goal is to create a digital home base for all of our work, and make it easier for Tesla community members to learn what's top of mind for us, take meaningful action and stay in the loop,” according to the company. The platform’s arrival coincides with the shuttering of the official forums on Tesla’s website, which will happen on March 15. After that, the forums will be read-only.
