The world of retail is moving online, and Bose intends to follow suit. That’s why the company recently announced that it would be closing 119 of its physical retail stores, permanently. That includes all locations in North America, Europe, Japan and Australia.

The closures should all be complete within the next few months, according to Business Insider. The company will leave certain stores open in China, India, South Korea and the United Arab Emirates, about 130 in total.

“Originally, our retail stores gave people a way to experience, test, and talk to us about multi-component, CD- and DVD-based home entertainment systems,” said Bose Vice President of Global Sales Colette Burke in a statement. “At the time, it was a radical idea, but we focused on what our customers needed, and where they needed it — and we're doing the same thing now.”
