Brand management company NordDDB and auto manufacturer Volkswagen have come together to produce a limited line of these Crashed Cases. Made from the metal from car wrecks in Sweden, only 153 cases will be made — one for each car crash in that country that occurred in February of this year, the first month after a law was passed making it illegal to use a cellphone while driving.

Each Crashed Case is handmade to fit the Apple iPhone 8 and is engraved with a unique number. Proceeds from sales will be donated to Trafikskadefonden, a Swedish group that assists people injured in traffic accidents.
