The long-desired edit feature has finally arrived on Twitter. If you’re a paying customer.

Following successful rollouts in Australia, Canada and New Zealand earlier this week, Twitter has now brought it’s much-awaited editing feature to the U.S. All subscribers to Twitter Blue, the platform’s $4.99 monthly subscription service, are expected to have access to the feature by the end of the day on Thursday.

The feature does come with a few caveats. First, tweets can only be edited for 30 minutes after they have been sent. After that, no changes. Second, when you edit a tweet, it will get an icon of a pencil to indicate to viewers that it has been altered. And third, regardless of whether they are Twitter Blue subscribers or not, anyone who can view your tweet can also view any previous versions, so they’ll know what edits you made.

Twitter has not commented on if the edit feature will eventually be made available to non-paying users.
