How long did it take the CDC to create an interactive tool for COVID-19 exposure and testing guidelines?

Answer: That depends on exactly how long it’s been since the pandemic started.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) finally has a quick and easy way for you to find out what to do if you think you’ve been exposed to COVID-19. It only took two years.

The new tool, located on the Quarantine and Isolation page of the CDC’s website, takes you through a 3- to 4-click survey in order to get a sense of your situation. Based on your answers, it will give precise recommendations as to how best to proceed in your case. It’s a quick and easy one-stop shop for all your questions on what to do if you’ve been exposed or tested positive.

Again, not sure why this took two years to happen, but what can we say? Better late than never.
