If you were one of the many who couldn’t get onto Ticketmaster on Tuesday, you have Taylor Swift to thank (or blame) for that. That’s because so many of her fans, known colloquially as “Swifties,” were trying to get presale tickets for her upcoming tour that they collectively crashed the site.

It’s been four years since the singer went on tour, so the Swifties are understandably excited for the chance to get to see her again. There was a presale lottery in which some lucky fans got an official invitation to purchase tickets on Ticketmaster before they went on sale for everyone. The presale was slated to begin at 10 a.m. ET on Tuesday, but there was so much demand that the site promptly crashed.

It was so bad, in fact, that Ticketmaster had to officially reschedule the whole thing due to “historically unprecedented demand.” West Coast presales were rescheduled from 10 a.m. PT to 3 p.m., and Capital One credit card holders that managed to get the presale invitation were told their window wouldn’t be until 2 p.m. local time on Wednesday.
