A recent nationwide Center for Digital Government/IBM survey found 56 percent of organizations are now using multiple clouds, with some adopting as many as 10 different types of cloud environments. Multi-cloud environments can provide huge benefits to government agencies, but there are also challenges to implementing and managing them.

With the enhanced partnership between IBM and Red Hat, the two companies committed to advance hybrid and multicloud capabilities via an open source software approach.
