Curtis Chiuu is a Principal Systems Engineer with the City of Sacramento, Department of Information Technology, where he specializes in developing enterprise solutions for Active Directory, Office 365, IAM, and Microsoft Azure. Curtis has spent the past 20 years in the public sector, including stints with the State of California and the University of California, Davis. Curtis brings a breadth of operational knowledge and understanding working in diverse organizations. Curtis lives in Sacramento, CA, with his wife and 2 dogs (a Husky and a Great Dane).

Cody Hussey

Solutions Engineer, Yubico

Cody Hussey is a Solutions Engineer at Yubico Inc. and is a security focused futurist advocating for strong authentication based on open standards. Cody's career focus has been scaling identity and access strategies for enterprises and the public sector. He is also an organizer and founder of the Amazon AWS Southern Maine User Group and highly encourages multi-cloud adoption. Cody enjoys spending downtime with family in the upper valley of New Hampshire, as well as baking, biking, and working on land conservation.

Deb Snyder — Moderator

Senior Fellow, Center for Digital Government, former CISO for NY State

Deb recently retired from her position as New York State’s Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), after over 35 years of public service. In that role, as part of New York State's information technology transformation and consolidation initiative, she helped redesign how the state protects its data. As State CISO, she directed the State’s comprehensive cyber security governance, risk management and compliance program, providing strategic leadership and vision, and assuring business-aligned, risk-based investments that maximized business opportunity and minimized cyber security risk.
