State of GovTech Startup Showcase Winners (Part 1 of 2) — ICYMI

Six startups selected as the most promising solutions at the 2022 State of GovTech event introduce their companies and describe their offerings. In this episode we spotlight Electo Analytics, ForceMetrics and HData.

Early last month, e.Republic* partnered with CivStart and AWS to hold the State of GovTech 2022 event live in Arlington, Va. It was a great opportunity for industry and investors to network with public-sector leaders through a mix of keynotes and panels, and one of the event highlights was the “startup showcase,” where 24 gov tech startup companies took the stage to pitch their solutions to a panel of judges.

“At a time when citizens expect more from their governments and a new generation of government leaders are searching for fresh ideas, these startups embody innovative uses of technology to solve some of the most complex public-sector challenges,” said e.Republic Chief Innovation Officer Dustin Haisler, one of the showcase judges.

Six of those companies were recognized as the overall winners for embodying innovative uses of technology to solve public-sector challenges. Among the finalists were:

Electo Analytics — A scalable public affairs software that empowers teams to connect the pieces needed to influence policy, all in one place.

ForceMetrics — Bringing 21st-century data innovations to 20th-century processes, empowering officers and public officials to make better, more informed decisions in the moment.

HData Delivering streamlined compliance and business intelligence to the energy industry, automating processes for people who comply with regulations, enforce regulations and use regulatory data.

On this episode of ICYMI, Dustin and Joe are joined by Elizabeth Turner (Electo Analytics), Andre McGregor (ForceMetrics) and Hudson Hollister (HData) to discuss their companies’ solutions, their ideal agency customers and what has surprised them working with state and local agencies.
