According to a recent survey from MiMedia, a provider of a cloud-based personal media platform, consumers feel social networks are not concerned about privacy surrounding photo sharing -- but they aren't taking all possible steps to effectively preserve their personal digital information.
MiMedia's first annual Consumer Cloudification survey found that if their privacy was violated, 80 percent of consumers would cease sharing on a social site altogether. 71 percent of respondents reported they are concerned about the security and privacy of their personal information on Facebook, yet 58 percent of those concerned admitted they continue to share photos on Facebook at least once a month.
