Colorado Goes Google Apps for Government

At the 2012 NASCIO Annual Conference in San Diego, CIO Kristin Russell discussed the deployment to 26,000 state employees.

On Oct. 8, Colorado moved all 26,000 of its employees to Google Apps for Government.

CIO Kristin Russell says one of the reasons the state went with the Google platform is because the company put a lot of innovation and research and development into improving the service, which benefits government greatly.
