To document and formally recognize how technology is used to better serve constituents, the Center for Digital Government, through its Digital States program, conducts the biennial Digital States Survey, the nation’s original and only continuous survey of state government information technology.

We are excited to explore and acknowledge technology innovations in state government! States have received the materials for the survey.

Submissions are due May 23.
At the conclusion of the survey, responses will be compiled, and each state will be assigned a grade and selected for awards. States with awards and top grades will be honored during the National Association of State Chief Information Officers (NASCIO)'s annual conference.

Additionally, all state grades and awards are published, and leading states will be profiled in Government Technology magazine.

Aggregated responses will be shared with participants, providing insights into emerging best practices and benchmarks useful for strategic planning.

CDG thanks the following Digital States program corporate members for underwriting the survey: Amazon Web Services, Armis, Cisco, Fortinet, HP, KPMG, SHI, Socure, Tyler Technologies, UiPath and Verizon.
