Houston County, Ga., parents can check up on their children's school attendance, grades, homework and test scores on the Internet, according to the Macon, Ga., Telegraph. Teacher's grade books are linked to the Web site by Smartweb Internet software, purchased two years ago in response to high school parents' desire for more communication on how their children were doing.
