The National Association of State Chief Information Officers (NASCIO) selected 30 state IT initiatives in 10 categories as finalists for the 2009 Recognition Awards for Outstanding Achievement in the Field of Information Technology in State Government. Finalists were selected from 117 submissions by 31 states and submissions are on the NASCIO Web site.
Winners will be announced at NASCIO's Annual Conference on October 26 in Austin, Texas. The following is a list of award finalists organized by category:
