Exploring the Transformative Power of ECM (Infographic)

Enterprise Content Management (ECM) technology has been used for years, helping agencies to rid themselves of paper in favor of going electronic. Ultimately, ECM can improve business processes and help governments provide additional services on leaner budgets. 

But many don't know the extent to which ECM can impact an agency's operations, so GovLoop, along with OnBase, a Hyland software company, created an infographic to visually demonstrate its many benefits.

Take, for instance, the fact that ECM helps government with not only records management, workflow and business process management, but also citizen engagement. It offers additional benefits related to mobility, which is changing computing in the public sector, from how workers perform their jobs to what government services citizens expect.
