As part of his transparency in government initiative, Nevada Gov. Jim Gibbons has added podcasts and video messages to the state of Nevada Web site. Gibbons has also added a new e-mail address for citizens to offer ideas and comments through the legislative session. The new e-mail address is YOUROPINIONCOUNTS@GOV.NV.GOV
"I plan to share messages and viewpoints about important and timely topics of interest to everyone in Nevada," Gibbons said, "Many Nevadans are not able to travel to Carson City to hear directly from state leaders, so I am working to make my office easier to access and to ensure that Nevadans can hear directly from their governor."
The videos can be viewed by double-clicking on the "podcast" link or the message can be saved to a computer or handheld device by right-clicking and saving the video file to your computer or device.
