Lily is a quadcopter advertised as needing no configuration. The user simply throws Lily into the air and the device can capture high-definition video, slow-motion video or still shots, with 20 minutes of flight time. Lily is being sold for $499 until June 15, after which it will retail for $999.
As gadgets like Lily gain ahold of mainstream culture, the public sector is sure to find applications, too.
