A company called Backcountry Access released a free app that contains a suite of avalanche tools. The app has a measuring tool that assists in the measurement of slope aspect, angle and elevation, as well as an avalanche forecasting tool that compares forecast data. The app also provides tips and information related to outdoor survival.
