More Cybersecurity for the Electricity Grid

If you want to ensure your employability into the future, I recommend either robotics or cybersercurity as career paths. Eventually there will be a massive cyber-attack against our electric grid or other primary critical infrastructures. Then it will be Katy Bar the Door move towards locking down these infrastructures to prevent a repeat of the attack--which will likely be repeated as some point.

Until then, there will continue to be numerous small steps taken, as illustrated below, to improve our cyberposture. Likely, these will be too small, too late and will lack widespread implementation. See this FERC proposes new cyber controls for power grid.
