Current Issues and Future Trends in Mobility Management
At first glance, it seems that the job of a parking department is fairly simple: determine when a person parks a vehicle in a certain location, receive payment from that person and enforce the rules by ticketing those who do not pay.

However, in this day and age of ride-share pickups and drop-offs, quick deliveries of food and goods purchased online, an increase in scooters and bike-shares, public transit and electric vehicles, parking enforcement has become more complicated, making it a natural intersection for technology to manage the process, according to Passport's Doug Rogers.
