Two California justice applications were recognized at the recent Best of California 2004 conference, which highlighted the best technology projects from across the state. California CIO Clark Kelso lauded a new Megan's Law Web site developed by the California Department of Justice for the way it utilizes existing data. In addition, the state's Department of Justice was given an award for Best Application Serving the Public presented by MCI for the department's California Automated Palm Print System.
