What new information have astronomers uncovered about exoplanet HD 189733 b?

Discovered in 2005, HD 189733 b is the first planet outside our solar system to have its color directly measured. Using a new technique, scientists learned that the planet was deep blue in hue. More information about the process used can be found at Scientific American.
