An overactive privacy filter in Google's Street View system blurred the face of a cow crossing a small road in Cambridge, England, much to the delight of Twitter.

A string of predictable puns followed, then an explanation from Google accompanied by some wordplay of its own:

"We thought you were pulling the udder one when we herd the moos, but it's clear that our automatic face-blurring technology has been a little overzealous. Of course, we don't begrudge this cow milking its five minutes of fame."

Actual privacy concerns sprouting from Google's Street View vehicles were more common upon the technology's launch than they are now, as it would seem many have accepted that cameras are everywhere.
