On Saturday, Sept. 26, the Bonhams auction house in Ebeltoft, Denmark, sold what it describes as a pioneering electric car — a 1905 Woods Electric Style 214A Queen Victoria Brougham — for $94,709. Believed to be the only one in existence, the Queen Victoria Brougham is fully functional and was recently driven — and offers insight into early electrical motoring.
