This is what the models and tracks are showing for now. Most of these are pretty accurate, but with weather patterns changing, at this point I think that everything is a bit “questionable.”
We saw the remnants of Hurricane Ida cause more deaths going up the East Coast than the storm caused when it was much more violent in the gulf areas of the United States.
Every storm today, I think, should have an asterisk by it since the impacts of the storm are unpredictable. This can come from people being unfamiliar with how storms are changing or just plain not being tuned into storm threats and the implications of these more frequent and violent storms.
