Baseball pitchers have wins, losses, and strikeouts. Quarterbacks have touchdown passes and interceptions, etc.
For the United States we now have five (5) million cases of the coronavirus--IT IS A WORLD RECORD!! That we should not be celebrating.
There was this tally in the Washington Post on Sunday, "The virus first appeared on U.S. soil in mid-January. On April 28, the country tallied its millionth case. The United States reached 2 million cases on June 11, 3 million on July 8 and 4 million on July 23, according to tracking by The Washington Post. [August 9th--5M]. Increased testing? Yes, that and the spread of the disease.
Not a record any nation wants to have, something like "Most fumbles by a quarterback." For the record, that title is held by Brett Favre a Green Bay Packer player. I grew up a Bears fan...too baaaad Brett!
