Maryland County Deploys Global Positioning System

ROCKVILLE, Md. -- The Montgomery County Department of Correction and Rehabilitation will deploy iSECUREtrac's tracNET24 GPS tracking system for its offender-tracking program. Montgomery County will initially deploy 50 tracNET24 GPS tracking units.

Montgomery County's population is over 900,000,and the county manages approximately 400-450 offenders on a daily basis.
