Twitter Use in Disasters

For those of you who care about social media use during disasters, I think you will find this article of interest, In disasters, Twitter users with large networks get out-tweeted.   

It is a bit counterintuitive that people with smaller networks would be tweeting the most. Also, it is wise to note that people are following social media more closely as "predicted disasters," a.k.a. hurricanes, approach. You might want to strategize the use of your own social media to adjust to this reality.
