Amazon Package Delivery by Drone Coming Soon(?)

It has been reported that "Amazon Prime drones may start delivering in a matter of months, but not around HQ2", which is slotted to be in Virginia [Note: this link might not work for you, since I am a subscriber to the Business Journal]. 

I believe that a key factor in the "socialization" of drones, by that I mean widespread acceptance, will be the ubiquitous use of drones to do all manner of package or other service (pizza?) delivery. It is a convenience factor that will put all those food service providers out of business, unless it is the drone business that they get into.

If not "soon" than it will be "sooner-than-later" that all this comes to pass.
