The Vote: An Independent, Impartial California Redistricting?

Last fall, California voters passed Proposition 11 that will turn the implementation of state redistricting over to the Bureau of State Audits, an agency insulated from partisan influence. The California Voter Foundation (CVF) today announced that the Bureau has a new Web site and has published draft regulations for implementation of Prop. 11. CVF also submitted recommendations on the need for transparency throughout the process.
