County Begins Using Federal Fingerprint Database
Macomb County has become the third county in metro Detroit to start using a federal immigration fingerprint database to identify legal and illegal immigrants arrested there. Macomb County began using the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) database last week, according to a news release. Oakland County began using the system last month; Wayne County was the first Michigan county to use the system last year. Detroit Free Press
