Tools used to corral the ever-widening pool of digital data is improving project outcomes, enhancing transparency and service delivery, and boosting return on investment, productivity and fraud reduction. Big data is touching education, policing and infrastructure, the infographic shows, as the lines are blurred between software and hardware.
