State CIOs Want More Federal Support on Cybersecurity (VIDEO)

The prospect of new federal cybersecurity legislation was a hot topic at the NASCIO Midyear Conference held May 8-11 in Baltimore.

State CIOs and the technology industry are closely watching legislative efforts to up vulnerabilities and protect critical infrastructure. In the video below, Trey Hodgkins, senior vice president of TechAmerica; and Pamela Richardson Walker, director of government affairs for the National Association of State Chief Information Officers, share their thoughts about the issues in play.
