Remote Work Pays Off for Atlanta Housing Authority

Hear how virtual desktop technology helped create a remote work program.

A recent move to virtual desktop technology enabled the Atlanta Housing Authority (AHA) to begin offering a remote work program for employees. The program paid off in March 2017 when fire damaged a major highway leading into the city, closing the route to traffic for more than a month. Many AHA employees were able to work remotely, helping to reduce traffic congestion, says Dr. Mark Campbell, CIO for the authority. Campbell talks about the impact of remote work at AHA in this interview from our Special Districts Summit Southeast in Orlando, Fla.
